| Why Do You Need To Detox? |
Toxins are everywhere around us and the amount of toxic chemicals released into the atmosphere, the food and water we consume and the products we use are staggering!
Our body has a natural detox system that comprises various organs to facilitate toxins removal or to transform them into harmless excretable chemicals. But if these important detox organs' functions are compromised, some toxins will get stored in our cells or get recirculated in our bloodstream. Accumulation of toxins can lead to health problems such as fatigue, aches and a decline in immune system, which may trigger an onset of degenerative diseases. It is thus essential that we do something to assist our body in eliminating these toxins in order to reduce the burden on our detox organs. |

| Here are key contributing factors that build up toxins in our body: |
- Environmental pollutions - The air that we breathe is polluted, the water that we drink is chlorinated, the clothing that we wear is made of artificial fabrics and chemicals, the lotions and shampoos that we use contain chemicals. Once these chemicals enter our body, it is difficult to fully eliminate them. Detox is one of the best ways to maintain good health in a polluted and toxic environment.
- Unhealthy diet - Consistent abuse of our diet with improper nutrition such as consuming high amounts of sugar, high glycemic carbohydrates, refined food, high fat food and adulterated food also create toxins in our body.
- Sedentary lifestyle - The time spent on commuting, watching television and behind a desk as well as lack of physical activity does not assist in exercising the waste out of the body but may lengthen the commute time in the intestinal system.
